In July, we ramped up our community outreach efforts, knocking on doors, hosting events, and listening to the concerns and hopes of our neighbors. It was heartening to hear so many of you share your stories and ideas, reinforcing why I’m running for office: to ensure that every voice in our district is heard and represented.

Here's a recap:

- Toured the Dupage County Jail with Sheriff Mendrick and leaders of the JUST program.

- Learned more about Bartlett's needs at the Village Board Meeting

- Met hundreds of constituents while walking in the Bartlett and Warrenville parades

- Dropped off 🍪 cookies at Firehouse Station 5 in West Chicago (not homemade, but still so, so tasty)

- Beautified our streets with the Litter Quitter crew, collecting 🗑️ 10 bags of trash!

- Collected 14 backpacks 🎒 for a local school drive

- Met up with a local grocery owner to hear about her journey into business

- Attended Duane Abate's monthly meeting and had the opportunity to share the message of Your Dream Matters

- Stopped by a local nonprofit to learn how their organization runs and what their needs are

- Served adult beverages 🍺 at Bartlett's July Fest

- Enjoyed meeting up with constituents for coffee. These coffee conversations have given me the opportunity to hear matters of the heart.

- Stopped by Oaks Retirement home and dropped off a cheery balloon bouquet 🎈

- Connected with professionals at our Meet & Greet at 120 Live

- Discussed economic opportunities with retirees and business owners at our Meet & Greet at the Community Center

- Chatted it up with neighbors and new friends at West Chicago's Art & Taco Fest. 🎭  🌮 (The West Chicago Park District continues to amaze with their first class events.)

Oh, and we hit our door-knocking goal. 🎯

My July was productive and energetic thanks to all of my supporters, prayer warriors, and donors. Thank you for being a part of this impactful campaign.

Let's make each of these next 95 days count,
