Once a month, my faith community comes together for Family Dinner.

Huge spread.
Lots of visitors.
We all share what we’re thankful for and what we’re challenged by.
Live worship.
And then a message / discussion.
Lots of hugs.

Last night, my friend Vito talked about one of his favorite topics: the kingdom. And he shared a thought that was profound and beautiful “The kingdom of God is like a little leaven - it changes EVERYTHING.” We’re called to be leaven in our communities. To infuse the kingdom of God (His peace, hope, and love) into our world. Creating margin for one another by small acts of service. My prayer this morning was, “Father, in the midst of getting elected to public service, help me TODAY to find a way to serve. To be leaven.” (And you know what, He diddddd 😄)

So yah, this is the reminder you didn’t need but I did to ‘leaven up.’ 🥖 Let’s leave people in better condition than how we found them.

PS — I’m not sitting weird. That’s a Cajon under me. 😆🪘
